Plenary Discussion supported by Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation

On April 12, 2021 in Moscow, a plenary discussion "Digital Transport Corridors" with the participation of the Ministry of Transport of Russia will be held during the Transport and Logistics Congress "TransRussia"

The widespread adoption of digital technologies is fundamentally changing the conditions and ways of doing business. This affects the implementation of transport and logistics activities in the traditional sense.
The use of digital technologies in the field of international transport and logistics is associated with the digital transformation of traditional international transport corridors.
The creation and development of a single cross-border information space for the exchange of data and electronic documents is a key element of the emerging digital international transport corridors. It determines the preconditions for the transition from a competition strategy in the transport and logistics sector to a strategy of cooperation and partnership, and a formation of sustainable business ecosystems.
As part of the partnership strategy, the countries-members of the digital transport corridors ecosystem (DTCE) will harmonize approaches, define mechanisms for the implementation of ecosystem services, and lay the principles of interoperability in the creation and operation of new transport systems. Thus, DTCE will allow to achieve synergistic effects for all participants in integration processes and to minimize the risks of new "digital" barriers in the cross-border space to emerge.
The event is planned to be held with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, relevant ministries and departments of the EAEU member states, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Finland, international companies and organizations, including state and commercial companies of the PRC and the European Union.
